Our law firm was lead counsel in this class action brought on behalf of persons who owned property on the shore of Flathead Lake and the northern banks of the Flathead River in Montana. The complaint alleged that Montana Power Company and later PPL Montana, LLC operated Kerr Dam in a manner that resulted in erosion, property damage, and loss of shoreline on the lakefront and riverfront properties owned by members of the class. In March 2017, the court gave final approval to the third settlement in the case. Along with our co-counsel, we recovered $4.2 million in settlements for the class. On April 10, 2018, the court entered a final distribution order allowing distribution of the settlement funds to the class.
